Just to give you and idea of the food that we served at the Bar1951. As much as possible, we get our supplies such as vegetables and meat from the local market (San Andres Market in Malate). Everything is made from scratch.
For instance, the tomato sauce is made from our kitchen using fresh local tomatoes (that is why the color varies depending on the supply) which is stewed for hours. We used our own oven baked dried local jalapeno chili to spice things up a notch.
