We never promised a 'fixed' schedule of music, like blues night, jazz night every Friday or Saturdays etc. Because we always leave something for life's unexpected twist and turn. Because you don't know who will drop from the sky such as this video. TOMADACHI (in Japanese meaning 'friends' or support of friends)

TOMADACHI , actually acronym for TOnet Lipana, DAve Harder and MAr Dizon  jazz trio. I consider this  a kind of power trio with all members being a veteran of the local jazz scene.All the players in this trio are also members of different bands, so this makes this setup a kind of side project. Don't expect to hear any 'smooth' kind of jazz folks. This is jazz,  not so much radio friendly but this is how its supposed to be.

Roots of Nature (RON), a four piece dynamo of a band from the north of Manila. How to describe their music? It's a  genre bending mix of rock (heavy but not loud), world beat with a plenty of percussive groove, Maki's  set-up of djembe, wooden congas and various cymbals and percussions takes the band to another level.   The music of RON makes a good argument  as to why I hate putting labels to music.
